Business owner Lucetta Elmer announced she will be a candidate for State Representative for District 24 which includes most of McMinnville, Yamhill, Carlton, Sheridan, Willamina and Grand Ronde. She is running as a Republican.

"As State Representative for District 24, I plan to give a voice to the people. I am interested in learning about your personal concerns, and bringing answers and solutions to things which matter most: your well being and that of each Oregon citizen," states Lucetta. "Quality of life and community development are equally important, and an essential key to both is to hear the voices of each individual member of that community. Lucetta has experience representing her community, having sat on and represented many boards: Chair of McMinnville Chamber of Commerce, Chair of McMinnville Christian Academy, Board Member of McMinnville Downtown Association, and Member of Government Affairs Committee.
